Google Spreadsheets Launches, Takes On Microsoft

Google's planning to release Google Spreadsheets on Tuesday on Google Labs , a lightweight way for anyone to create spreadsheets without the usual big app download or install. I posted details on the blog in Google Spreadsheets To Launch Shortly. What do you think? Will you use it? Are there similar apps out there you're already using?

AnthonyCea can only hope to improve
It is just another piece of the Google OS puzzle like the Picasa for Linux application that was released the other day!

Thanks for mentioning Zoho Writer! Zoho offers many other online applications including the spreadsheet app.

From what can be gathered from the sneak preview screenshots & the sign-up page, Zoho Sheet has all the features of Google Spreadsheets and a few things more too like embedding of charts, multiple sheets in a workbook etc.
