Google sitemaps is the system that tells G which pages your website contains. If you have an website with URL with parameters then the googlebot won't crawl to much of it, especially if you have multiple parameters(more than two).
So, you must create a sitemap file and tell google what pages your server contain. Then the googlebot will came on your sitemap file and will try to reach those URL that normally he will have problems crawling.

The XML files are one of the file formats accepted by Google to submit sitemaps. I think RSS Feeds you are reffering to, can also be a XML file that mainly will "announce" some subscribers on the new published on your website.

ya for news we use xml ....am not asking about that
i am asking about a file called feed.xml which is submitted in some search engine and directories.This file have details of our page title, keywords and page description like same we use for web page optimization with the url.

You should submit to all the sites that are accepting rss feed for inclusion. The only one I know worthy is yahoo and google, and somehow tricky, MSN.

One of my optimized site rss xml feed has been indexed by G, when i search with one of my optimized keywords, this rss is getting listed, how will people come to my site, rss displays only a "plain text" and not "<a href link>".


Is there any solution for it?

Jag,

Your RSS feed won't help you in rankings anyway. Using it, you just tell the search engines that the page exists. It will help you only to get your pages crawled and that's it. Then, knowing that your page is out there, there is more probably that SE's crawlers will parse the page and rank it.

My rss feed is ranked by G, thats the matter and some SE keywords on top.

Those are very competative keywords, thats the fun.

More over the site is new and just started for LB, and the domain is .in ranking will be very slow.u can see some of the inner page rank as 3.

Next rank raise u can see it as PR 4

just build the content on that site and keep building useful backlinks, one way backlinks if possible. Try to avoid having pages like you do have ....in/info.asp.

That info.asp is not for useful links page... its a general information link waiting for content... Reg useful link u can find another links

Where all we can add our feed.xml link.

I found a site named addme.com where they accept feed.xml file, i think yahoo also accepts feed.xml file

Do u know any other xml file Submission sites and what is the advantage by ranking xml file

I have submitted my feeds "http://www.indiahousing.com/feeds.xml" in these directories. i got response from rss-network.com, but not from other one yet.
