Adwords Keyword Tool not Showing Estimated Avg. CPC

When I am researching the prices of keywords why is the keyword tool not showing me Estimated Avg. CPC??? I see some for the .05 cents but nothing more. What am I missing? I have tried a range of keyword test to see if it is just the lowcost ones, but the big one are not showing up either.
