Bidding on "Google" & Weird Ads for Google

I can not read the language, but the landing page looks like some modeling site.

Any thoughts on how this got through?

Here's another weird ad I just found:

I google "sitemaps" to get to google sitemaps and the only ad that shows up has block characters that make a blue border around the site name.

Fulton - that is tricky - Retangular blue boxes text height in line 1 of Ad. Although I don't think Google my allow in future, I would like to know how to do it now.

Yes, it certainly caught my eye. If you click that link now the same ad has a different headline.

Idon't get the ad that started the thread but I am seeing ads for Fulton's link.... though they do not seem any different to a regular blue box ad... the Bold type is part of the searched keyword - they are always in bold... it is why keyword inserts work so well.
