Is A9 the No. 1 search engine?

Mind you, it really isn't bad. I know the web results come from Google, and don't include lots of the extra functions Google has on its own site (or image searching &c) but the Book results are a boon for book-oriented people like librarians (or would you disagree, Gary?
) and the "Search inside the book" facility is brilliant. I guess the extra data available from Alexa is useful on occasion too. All in all - as a general search engine it's OK, but as a specialist one it's great. |
