I've outlined pretty much everything I could in this topic. Further information would require exposing the Bruce Clay network of clients and I don't think that would be fair to them. Using advanced searches at various search properties will give anyone with the knowledge to understand this a clear picture of what is going on. Bruce will continue to respond by stating that he has made changes and that this is that and that is this and the whole spin cycle of the washing machine. Historical topics on the LinkMaps product have progressed in exactly the same manner this one has progressed. The LinkMaps product integrity and value was questioned then in 2002, 2003, and is still being questioned today in 2004.

Of course, Edward, I had a head crash... sorry. too many conversations.
Summary, every problem has been addressed, even my gripe about the author link, on the seotoolset.com implementation. No direct links to me in either LinkMaps or DSM, and no LinkMaps indexed pages. SEOToolSet.com is designed to allow other SEO's to use it without pointing to a competitor site (me), so I am actively detecting and removing all such links as a part of this campaign. It does sometimes point to seotoolset.com, but through a redirect so PR does not get passed. BUT I still insist that there is no PR transfer through a noindex tag, and I have seen no evidence that there can be (the toolbar PR is known to be incorrect in such cases). Unfortunately the Google API has no way of pulling PR -- my Google contacts concurr here as well. I suggest that this thread does close. It is clear that the subject is a heated debate, and that until the "today" version is implemented by all prior users this will simply not get resolved. I will have my staff give away new reports to all of those in the Google index to flush the system even if not current subscribers. PLEASE run the current version yourself. You can compile and view the pages without ever doing the install. |

OK, sounds like we're at a good closing point, then. Thank you everyone for your time in exploring the topic.
