How Detailled Do You Track?

I am curious as to how deep or involved your tracking is. Figured we could share a few methods and possibly learn a track or two from each other.

Right now we track using 3 systems each for different things.

I have also started setting up my high converting terms into individual AdGroups in Google and then using 3 different creatives with separate tracking so I can then use the Google optimizer to see which creative gets the CTR and on the other end see which has the best conversion rate. I then delete the lowest and use elements of the highest and try to develop an overall optimized creative.

This is to be followed by using the same creative written 3 times and sent to different landing pages so I can see which works best for that creative.

Anyone else have a method?

We track at the campaign level on Overture and Google. We are not yet doing any A/B testing for landing pages. I do use groupings of keywords for the ads, but I do not have conversion data down to individual keywords.

I am working on building a master keyword database for all of our sites so I can understand overlap and easily drill down to the successful terms - but I need to be able to track to the individual keyword level for this db to be really useful.

We use WebSideStory and Atlas OnePoint (only for bid mgmnt on Overture). Red tape is currently preventing me from using any other tools to track conversion...

Okay I will give some insight into WebSideStory... we can start next week when I am out of the office... less of a distraction.... and I will make a new thread for it.
I am actually thinking of starting one for all of the tracking programs so questions can be asked... this would be for program tips and help... not to promote one over another.
So if any companies out there want to help with this let me know.
