What SEO Software to use

I'm a designer...my boss is looking at me to take over our current seo's job. The person we have right now is not that great...Things she tells us to do, I basically do not listen to her and I've gotten our site ranked very high in most of our keywords.

Anyways, long story short, can all of you tell me of some good software out there and or their website.
