Do you hear that loud sucking sound?

It's Yahoo slowly spinning around the toilet on its way to the sanitation plant.

Logged into a client account this morning. In every campaign just about every meaningful, high converting and high volume KW has been turned to "Inactive - bid too low".

The suggested min bid is about 3 times what a reasonable CPC should be.

These are ads that have a long history of success and even on Yahoo they have good CTR and incredible conversion rates. But Yahoo doesnt care about our conversions.

Not sure a plunger could even solve this one.

Re: Do you hear that loud sucking sound?

You know something is wrong when you are bidding more for KW on Yahoo than you are on Google. I think Yahoo's shooting themselves in the leg with this strategy. As if it wasnt self-evident already, they should've learned from Plaxico Burress that shooting yourself in the leg only causes major problems.

The problem is... I'm tired of working down the crap Yahoo puts in front of us. I want to be pro-active and growing, not fighting and protecting.

Like BE said, if the CPC is more than Google's somethings very wrong... well its at least 50% more than Google.
