Calling all SEO Travel affiliates: need tips creating niche travel site

Hi

I want to building a niche site for Hotels in Morocco so I decide to drill down further and narrow down to a area of Morocco: Marrakech.

I then look at some stats in google keywords and can see a keyword called "hotels in marrakesh" which gets a Monthly stats 18,100, so I buy the domain hotelsinmarrakesh.co.uk just the .co.uk to capture UK market for people going to Marrakech.

Q1. What more market research & analysis should I do to find out which is the best domain and keywords to choose for my new travel site to make it niche?

Q2. What other factors do I need to consider to reach a high rank in Google? when building a niche travel site?

Q3. Is it better to have the keyword in the domain like hotelsinmarrakesh.co.uk or choose one which is branded like goingmarrakesh.co.uk?

Q4. if I get a a domain co.uk will only visters in UK see this site? what if i need the world to see it will I need to get .com?

Many thanks for your thoughts.

R.

Q! Look at all attractions in the area and test the keyword numbers - work on them, hotel names, the airport etc. add content for each and build links and articles

Q2 You need good onpage and good off page... link building, references to your site by others

Q3 domain name is a factor but you can separate out and have a few with strategic keywords on different servers with different owners etc.

It is important to note the difference between "affiliates" and "thin affiliates". Affiliates offer unique content that is of value to users. To avoid being considered a "Thin affiliate" and spam by Google, it's best to offer unique content, product, descriptions, reviews, photos, video or similar. Also consider offering your own affiliate program and/or shopping cart at your domain and include a privacy policy explaining how you use information being collected.
