Search Results Vary Within the US?
I know search results can vary from user to user slightly based on search history and such, but do search results vary that much based on Geographic location within the US. I know things change when you search in different countries, but I am talking specifically US. We recently moved to the #1 spot for one of our biggest keywords, but 5 days later I am not seeing any increase in traffic as a result of that keyword, so I am wondering if other people are not seeing us at #1. We had been previously #5.
Thanks for the insight. |

One you could be signed in to google and the view is just yours - two you could have one data center listing you high and the others lower... but first is more likely

Re: Search Results Vary Within the US?
well i look at our rankings signed in and not signed in and have had some other people check around and are seeing the same thing, but they are in my area. But generally speaking do people in different areas of the country (US) see significantly different search results?
