Sometimes when a listing appears #1 there are 9 links under the listing: Example type in Search Engine Watch Forums. Then the links appear Google, Adwords, etc.
Q1: What is the technical/SEO name for these links? Q2: How do you code so that Google would show such links? Certainly an objective is to take up more real estate in the listing. I note that these links only tend to appear when the ranking is #1. However I have seen a #3 ranking with 4 such links horizontally under the listing. Also, it appears Google randomly takes from links to internal pages aleady provided on the page. Regards, GAustralia |

Re: Internal Page Links Appearing Under Listing
1. They are called sitelinks
2. No so much code - read these http://searchenginewatch.com/3629713 and http://www.google.com/support/webmas...n&answer=47334 Google is playing where they will drop the sitelinks but for top listing seems to be standard or at least most used
