Google and YouTube
Hi all,
A question regarding video content on website: I use today in my websitea a video streamer in order to play video files. I had an idea to upload video files to YouTube and to embed it in, instead the media streamer. In which way Google will show relevant search results? will organic results lead to my website or to the YouTube page of the file? If the latter, I guess it may lessen traffic in my website. Thanks for replies. |

Re: Google and YouTube
I think it will still crawl your web page. It just won't return the media embedded on your page because it will know that has been embedded.
I'm assuming of course, that you have content on your page outside of the video. Does that answer your question? |

Re: Google and YouTube
So, you reckon that for a relevant query, my web page will show in the results list rather than a YouTube link?

Re: Google and YouTube
If you have good, clear, unique content around the page, then definitely.
