We can do regular SEO on my website but how we can make website more popular in search engine.

Which activity will help us to create more popularity of the website ???

Generally speaking, the best thing to start concentrating on is content. If people find content on your site that they like, they will naturally share it with others and your site will become more popular, especially with the search engines.

Start by doing some keyword research to find the types of keywords that people search for when looking for a website on your topic--and create unique content on your site that is tailored around those keywords. As you add more pages, link them from your home page and the search engines will find them. Try sharing the content (whenever new content is added to your site) with others on other social sites to help drive more traffic.

In the meantime, make sure your content is optimized--with a unique title tag, meta description tag, and enough "text" on the page so that the search engines know what the page is about. I recommend at least 350-500 words per page.

There are a lot of sites out there where you can start learning more about SEO, and there are some "starter guides" on SEO, as well that you can download and read. But, the main part of SEO is content and generating content that others like and find useful.
