Google Adwords Certification

Hi There - I recall back a bit that there was some for of certification available to provide that you are proficient with Google Adwords. Is this true? If so, I am wondering if anyone knows of a reputable source where this can be achieved. Thanks so much. -Beth

You are talking about the Adwords Professional program
was one of the first 100 to get the certification - is a good qualifier when looking for ppc help

The course is good for providing marketers new to PPC and Adwords a solid overview of the system. However it does not teach strategy, creative set up nor best practices. Those elements are unique to each marketer and business and in my view are the main competitive differentiators.

You can put a Piano in my house and tell me how it works, but that won't make me the next Beethoven.

Take the course, it will teach you a lot, but don't be afraid to deviate from the rules, let your individual flare and style guide the structure of your campaigns and you just might become an adwords virtuoso.

verty true it test knowledge of how adwords works mechanically not the creativity it takes to be good at it
