Social bookmarking everything....

Is there any benefit to social bookmarking everything that mentions your website

e.g. I just completed a profile in a business directory, and there are "bookmark this" buttons for Stumble, Delicious etc etc

Is there a benefit to doing this on every company profile you create?

cannot hurt... always potential for straight traffic from these sources and someone may see the site as a source of solid information and link to you relevantly

I agree. Social bookmarking sites that mention your site can add value to those links that are pointing back to you. I recommend being extremely transparent and setting up branded accounts in the social bookmarking site rather than setting it up as a generic account for a non-affiliated user.

I think if you've got accounts for every
bookmarking sites, then you'd probably make use of
those bookmarking buttons everytime you create
a profile.. these will surely give your site more
traffic, provided you have there on your profile
the links or URL..
