MSN now displays 1000 results.

MSN now displays 1000 results. This should be an interesting feature considering its backlink fetching.

MSN used to stop at the 250th result. Now it goes beyond that stretching to the 1000th result like Yahoo and Google does. More important, MSN is very good at showing backlinks.

Not using their API

They may show more than 250 results when using their public web interface, but the web search API is still giving only around 250 results. The most I've been able to get is around 290 results with the API.

Having 1000 results is good. It would be better if the quality of MSN results improves.

True enough, but you have to admit that it is nice to have one of the major engines so easy to SEO for. Even if the result is that their SERPs are not the most targeted.
