Direct Sandbox Discussion @ SES San Jose
For those who've been to SES conferences in the past, you can note that the GG Sandbox, despite being of primary interest to many folks in SEO has been skirted, dodged or barely mentioned.
I'd like to point out that this will not be the case with SES San Jose, as the Sandbox and penalties in general receive some direct attention during presentations and almost certainly in Q+A sessions. Specifically: http://blog.searchenginestrategies.c...20-114033.html - Algorithms Session http://blog.searchenginestrategies.c...18-145309.html - Site ECG and, most likely, in the two open forums on link building. It's important to note that NO ONE has concrete data on what causes the sandbox, or the EXACT details of what it does. What we do have now, nearly 18 months after it was first noticed, is enough hands-on examples to make intelligent guesses and note phenomenon surrounding those sites that are penalized, and those that have managed to avoid being "boxed". If you have specific topics that you're hoping will be addressed, or can contribute on the subject, this would be great. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there! |
