Re: Why my links were deleted?

Your site got deleted from 2k directories / partner sites or from backlinks list?

If 2nd one is the case then the links would be from similar directories (hosted) or in total poor backlinks.

Check out with yahoo site explore or through Google Webmaster tools to see the correct count and confirm.

Best,

Re: Why my links were deleted?

If you built 2k links "recently", there could be a problem, depending on what you mean by "recently".

If you built 2k links over the space of 3 months, for instance, that is a ridiculously short period of time for so many links to suddenly pop up for a website that isn't part of a very hot trend. It is not a natural pace, and the search engines are not stupid (or, at least, the engineers who design the algorithms are bot stupid).

2k links in as short period also implies a lot of very crappy links; good quality links take time. There is nothing wrong with low quality links, because natural link-building would imply 10 low-quality links for every high-quality link, but 2k over a short period of time sure looks like a lot of extremely low quality links (again, I make the wild assumption that the site is not a hot trending topic).

Re: Why my links were deleted?

is it that the engines are not seeing them?
is it you bought from someone who turned them off because you stopped paying for the monthly fees?
