Free Webinar on new AdWords user interface - this Friday, June 26th

Here it is folks - perhaps the third or forth thread I have ever started here on SEW.

As has been mentioned on the Inside AdWords blogs a couple of times recently, the folks behind the new AdWords user interface are holding a series of free Online webinars as a resource to help advertisers orient themselves in that interface.

The first webinar was on June 19th and we heard from many advertisers that it was quite useful - with at least one adding that we should make sure that the webinars are more widely known.

A second free webinar is scheduled for this coming Friday, June 26th at 11 AM PDT. And, with an eye towards making it more widely known, I thought I'd mention it here in this forum. I hope you'll register if you'd like a good overview of the new UI, directly from the folks who created it.

On that page, you'll also find a link to a Google Moderator page on which you may ask your new UI questions in advance, and/or vote on the questions already added by others.

Just curious if anyone from this forum attended the 'new UI webinar'?

If so, do you have any feedback of any sort? I'll happily pass it on to the team as they get ready for future webinars.

Things missing entirely? Things that could have been covered more effectively? Things you wanted to hear less about? Anything at all, really, whether positive, neutral or negative.

I attended the webinar and found it to be very informative. I recommend it to anyone who uses Adwords, even if you're a power user. In addition to an overview of the new UI, they covered upcoming features that haven't been released yet. Very cool stuff.

My only complaint was that they went *really* fast and it was hard to follow at times - I was trying to follow along in my own Adwords account and found myself falling 2-3 screens behind.

By the way, I know exactly how you feel. I always fall behind on these types of things myself - and it's pretty frustrating.

I can actually hear one of the new UI team talking with some colleagues not 30 feet from my desk right not, and I hope to catch her as she walks by.

If I can, I'll have her read your feedback right off my screen. Otherwise, I'll send it to her later on.

By the way, for those who might wish to participate an additional date has now been added, beyond the July 1st date I already mentioned.

The added date is Friday, July 10 at 9:30 AM PDT.
