Difference in PPC Report and Analytics Report

Hello All,

I am using Google Adwords for my website.

I noticed in my PPC report that on 19th April... there was 85 Clicks from Google PPC.... but I checked the same in Google Analytics.... Google Analytics not showing any of Clicks from Google / CPC....

I can see traffic from Google PPC content network (referral traffic).... but it was only 18 visitors

So what is the problem in my PPC campaign or Analytics....?

Please suggest me a solution for this problem.... Thanks in advance ...

Re: Difference in PPC Report and Analytics Report

@AussieWebmaster

Thanks for your reply...

Yes... I tried that and I already implemented Google Analytics into my Google Adwords A/c.

and I just checked Auto-tagging option.. And I can see

Tracking - edit
Auto-tagging: Yes

So It can show my Google / CPC and Google Organic Traffic... But I don't know Google not showing my Google / CPC (Search Traffic) in Analytics...

Yes... I can see the traffic which is generated by Google Adowrds Content Network (googleads.g.doubleclick.net / referral)... But only I can't see the traffic of Google / CPC...

If you have anything else solution for it.... please suggest me... now what I should to do... Thanks

Re: Difference in PPC Report and Analytics Report

Is your google analytics coding placed at the bottom of the page when you view source? It could be that google adwords is registering the click, but it's not registering in google analytics because that code isn't getting a chance to fire.

SeachGoddess good point - code should always be just above the </body> tag
