Travelocity's Glueck Blasts Tracking ROI, Non-Branded Search
Travelocity CMO Jimmy Glick (no that's the Martin Short character) Jeffrey Glueck is the one who claims non-branded search terms are a waste of time and that ROI for search cannot be measured....

It's almost not worth the time to discuss this... if he doesn't understand measuring ROI he shouldn't be working in this industry let alone making any "profound" statements.

Shhhhh...
This is the perfect chance to not give this guy what he wants--attention. Just let this pass. Within two posts on SEL, it's already been established this CMO is confused. In October he says yes to non-branded keywords, now he says no to non-branded keywords.

You don't get to be in his position within a top 3 travel site by being anything other than... smart.
