To the list you started in your first post you might want to add submitting to relevant authoritative directories, along with relevant, limited link exchanges.

I'm not sure at all what you're asking in the second post. Can you explain a bit more?

I would add up Link Baiting to you list

Link Baiting can be free, but sometimes it can get very costly. Of course, this all comes down to execution and what type of link baiting you want to do.

You can add free directories to your list as well. There are several valuable ones out there, and even though you have to hunt for them, they can be worth the effort.

There are lots of threads in this forum regarding several of these topics, so feel free to browse around and see what may spark your interest.

Along the lines of blog comments, you can actually add blogging to the list. I have seen success in managing company blogs from layout to content. The blog jumped to a PR of 4 and the visits slowly started to trickle into the main site.

Submit articles to article directories.
Participate helpfully in forums which allow a text link to your site in a signature.
Give away free e-books that contain links to your site.
Create a Blog and get it listed in Blog directories.

Am not sure on the back links...but more chances are there...traffic is guaranty..

if you have asked any question regarding your site ? and below you give the link of your site in yahoo answers. If any one searchers in search engine related to your site content then your site will displayed in google first page. Like this you can get traffic. As well as yahoo answering also, if you given any answers, put your site in below of the answer.
