Link intelligence firm Majestic SEO and Rio SEO, a search and social media marketing technology brand from Covario, announced a new partnership at SES San Francisco this morning. The two will join forces via data licensing and technology integration to offer global link building and link analytics to advertisers and agencies.
Why Majestic?
“We chose Majestic SEO’s backlink database to support our Search Analytics and Change Tracker tools because of their real-time freshness, scalability and uptime, focus on international SEO, and their interest in jointly creating new datasets for working search marketers,” said Russ Mann, CEO of Rio SEO.
It’s not the first time the two have worked together; Majestic SEO’s database has been part of Covario’s Organic Search Insight SEO auditing solution since early 2012.
“We are glad to partner with the passionate search marketers at Rio SEO, who focus on creating leading-edge innovations in SEO for their enterprise and mid-market advertiser and agency clients,” said Alex Chudnovsky, chief executive of Majestic SEO. “The Rio team has created one of the leading SaaS-based platforms for enterprise SEO with a scoring-based recommendation system that brings ‘big data’ analytics to the industry. Rio SEO already provides unique methods to visualize and prioritize links. We look forward to working closely together on new innovations in link analytics as well.”
Covario has had quite a year; in addition to launching the Rio SEO brand, they brought finance heavyweight Claire Long on as CFO and COO in early July. Long has worked in publishing, software, analytics, digital media and a number of other sectors in her two decade career in finance. Recently, she served as CFO for the San Diego Union-Tribune. The talent acquisition was a great move for Covario/Rio SEO, given that Long’s experience across multiple industries gives her unique insight into Covario clients’ digital marketing needs.
“Over the last three months, I have been able to work with a management team of seasoned search agency and software professionals who really understand this space,” Long told Search Engine Watch. “To me, in the end, a company is successful based on the strength of its management team. As a management team, we see a tremendous opportunity for growth.”
