UK SEO Spend Increases 16% in 2010
UK spending on SEO efforts for 2010 saw a 16% increase compared to 2009 numbers, an eConsultancy report noted.
The eConsultancy 2011 SEO Agencies Buyer’s Guide found the UK natural search market had grown from $590 million in 2009 to $684 million in 2010.
The report also noted companies surveyed planned on increasing spends for SEO efforts in the coming year.
“Overall, the SEO market continues to flourish, as it is a proven and highly effective method of delivering return on investment by successfully driving traffic and increasing sales,” Jake Hird, Senior Research Analyst at Econsultancy stated.
In 2010, the 27 UK agencies saw search changing with mobile share increasing and many new tools and platforms being launched.
