Google’s special playable guitar logo in tribute of Les Paul’s birthday was so popular yesterday that Google decided last night to keep the interactive Doodle up on their homepage for another day.
“Due to popular demand, we’re leaving the Les Paul doodle up in the U.S. through Friday for an encore,” Google wrote in an update to their blog post. “Thanks for jamming with us!”
It even inspired a website, Googuitar. Checkout this rendition of Hey Jude, by the Beatles, played completely on Google Doodle Guitar.
The post was also incredibly popular with Search Engine Watch readers, who shared their own song creations with us – some of which are downright awesome. One reader just sent a video of a rendition of our favorite song left in the comments, Bob Marley’s Redemption Song. Check it out below:
