Decorate Your Google Search Page
Today, Google announced a personalization feature that lets users add a background image to the Google.com search page.
Users can upload pictures from their own computer or Picasa web album or public galleries and featured photos from the Picasa community.
To add an image, users simply click on the “Change background image” link that appears on the bottom left hand corner of the Google search page and follow the dialog box. The feature rolls out to users in the U.S. so not every user will see the “Change background image” link immediately. International users will get the site in the following week.
Not much else to say about this. Perhaps, after the craze surrounding the playable Google Logo, folks at the search giant just thought they should give us more stuff to play with….
Hmm, I wonder if we’ll see this feature turn into doodle your own Google Logo in a couple of weeks?
