Candidates should have successful experience working with online marketing campaigns and be familiar with the role search marketing plays in an online strategy. The ideal candidate can blend their creative and analytical skills to build successful programs.

Manage paid search marketing for one or multiple Backcountry.com accounts
o Monitor and maintain search engine accounts to maximize traffic and sales while hitting ROI targets.
o Work closely with search engine account teams to optimize the campaigns.
o Utilize 3rd party reporting & bid management tools.
Analyze raw data from search marketing programs to guide daily decisions and drive long-term strategies.
Maintain search marketing reports for each campaign (rankings, traffic, conversion, cpc, ROI, etc.)
Responsible for monitoring potential click fraud, spend, and monthly reconciliation of search marketing invoices against actual campaign delivery.
Develop and publish cross-functional reports to assist other departments with business decisions.
Identify and plan for heavy seasonal shifts.
Stay on top of the latest industry trends & developments.
At least 1 year experience in online marketing; search marketing experience a plus.
Basic understanding of online marketing and how to measure success of a campaign.
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
Experience analyzing web metrics and applying understandings to the development and improvement of business products and initiatives.
Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
Strong organizational skills
Outstanding communication skills
Strong decision making/problem solving skills and ability to think analytically as well as creatively.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (solid Excel skills a must)
Four Year College Degree or equivalent experience.
