Re: my .net site won't rank in google.co.uk

I don't really bother with Google.com, when trying to access it most of us get re-directed to our national Gs, so I don't really "trust" the results.

In your case you seem more relevant to the wider...

G's gone very quiet...

The "Paid Link War" apart there doesn't seem to have been any major changes for a while, which makes me somewhat nervous.

If I was looking for portents there's enough oddities in the "Pages from...

At least if they don't tank you'll be able to console yourself with your headline writing skills :-)

Re: Struggling to get high in the Google rankings

Your links aren't great to be honest, but I think your main problem is the similar content on Sibeliusmusic.com, I stuck "String quartet sheet music in a wide variety of styles' into G and got 3...

Re: PR Sculpting - the Seomoz story

Have to admit to both a bias against using no-follow to sculpt internally, and to a certain disbelief that raising PR will on its own raise rankings ;-)

Which is what interested me in the Moz...

Subtlety - not an SEO term.

Discretion and moderation appear largely alien concepts with every perceived advantage leveraged to the point of ridicule, you'd swear that on spotting a Golden Egg many SEOs' instinctive reaction is...

Re: Question regarding Inbound link quality in Google

IMO "trust" can be an important factor, you can have a topical link from within content on what appears to be an "authority" site, but if G deems the site linkage "suspect" that link may do little...

Sounds so...

851 Links - from 642 on not cached.
299 Pages - from 65 on not cached.

Y! shows all the pages and links but a lot of them aren't cached, page is...
