MySpace passes Yahoo in page views
Check out the post by Liz Gannes on GigoOM entitled, Report: MySpace Passes Yahoo in Page Views.
According to comScore data mentioned in a note emailed yesterday by UBS Investment Research, Yahoo’s page views were down 9% month-over-month in November, allowing Fox Interactive Media’s MySpace to take the overall lead in that category for the first time.
UBS cited Yahoo’s warning that use of Ajax may decrease its page views, making measurement of unique visitors and user engagement more important factors.
However, Yahoo is still #1 in unique visitors, with nearly 130 million in November, for the top spot in comScore’s survey, followed by Time Warner, Microsoft, Google, and eBay, and Fox Interactive.
