Twitter Unveils @Anywhere Tweet Publishing Platform
No, it’s not Twitter’s new advertising platform.
When the new platform is launched, you’ll start noticing the ability to Tweet from some of the web’s most trafficked sites. Of course, sites can already implement this technology. In fact, you can Tweet directly from the likes of AOL.com and the new MSN.com. So what’s new?
It will be easier. Twitter says web developers can just drop a few lines of javascript and bam! – Tweeting enabled. Developers can avoid using the API. This whole scenario is called @Anywhere.
It will launch with a dozen big brand partners. So don’t get your copy and paste finger action ready yet. In the meantime, if you want a similar feature – just go ahead and use that API!
