Bing has made the process of displaying images and slideshows on websites a lot easier by providing access to the code necessary to display its search result images.
Once users copy the code, they simply insert it into the source code and, voila: Bing images will appear on the Web page in question.
Visitors to the Image Widget page are prompted to complete a series of settings, which control what images are displayed and how they are formatted.
For example, in a search for chocolate cake, users can opt for the images to appear as a collage and select other settings, such as background color and border.
The result? Bing presents a beautiful array of delicious chocolate cakes.
Do you see Bing having an issue with images displaying on particular sites that they would not want to be affiliated with? As a marketer, what purpose does this new widget hold for you?
