Major Site Exclusion Failure
Search Engine Watch Forums
“Site exclusion is very important to us, and we process both our web logs and placement reports to identify sites to be excluded every day. For the last 2 days, we’ve seen a huge spike in sites which we have excluded and yet still display our ads, and generate clicks, both in our web logs and placement reports. Is it just me or is site exclusion failing for everyone else also?”

Reciprocal Links Are (Still) Not Dead
Small Business Ideas Forum
“I’ve said this before and I’ll say it here again. There is nothing wrong with reciprocal links.”

Tips or Tools for Viewing Location-Specific Ads
Search Engine Watch Forums
“How do I check the SERPs to determine location-specific placement for out-of-state and national campaigns?”

Bounce Rates for Social Media
Cre8asite Forums
“Are bounce rates for social media different from bounce rates of other traffic sources?”

Do You Run AdWords Ads Without Keywords?
Search Engine Watch Forums
“What I mean by this is running campaigns on the Content Network but with a totally blank keyword set. So, the campaign has absolutely no keywords. I’m running a test, but I’m interested in what others have discovered.”

Internal Linkage Tips & Strategies
High Rankings Forum
“Are there any strategies or tips that you can recommend for internal linkage?”

Dynamic Pages Not Being Indexed
Search Engine Watch Forums
“I have a website with an index page that leads to a search page containing ‘summary’ level internal links to products. The pages are generated dynamically with PHP, so in order to make the products appear static I have used the mod_rewrite in htaccess. When the HTML page is invoked directly, it runs perfectly and displays the product. But none of the products are indexed by Google. Does anyone have some general advice on what I can check?”

Page Descriptions
High Rankings Forum
“I view meta descriptions as a place to include my marketing message, not a place to stick keyword phrases just for the sake of sticking them somewhere.”

Google Webmaster Guidelines UPDATE – Link Selling is EVIL
Search Engine Watch Forums
“Webmasters need to wake up, and so do so-called SEOs who have become link peddlers running link brokerage firms.”
