I have got 2 sites
*site A* - sells clothes and footwear
*site B* - sells stationery

now I want to name *site B* with a new name and thereafter the old name shall no more exist.

both the sites, A and B, are doing good (page rank and organic traffic)

*Practice - 1*
- add all the existing '*site B*' pages on *site A* with new content and
- redirect each *site B* page to the respective new page created on *site A* so as to utilize the importance of *site B* [page rank and traffic]

OR

*Practice - 2*
- redirect *site B* to *site A*; rather redirecting to an individual page

which one will be the best practice 1 or 2

thanks
