Here's an ongoing problem I'm having with Yahoo:
My manual and third party bid mangement bid updates do not stay at the entered amount for long. Today I noticed that even though YSM records and displays my manual change, this change is not reflected on their search engine.
You can do this test yourself: Change a bid for any keyword and note the position. Then check your position with YSM's bid tool as well as by searching for the keyword on Yahoo. You'll note that there is a large discrepancy and if you search the keyword again your ad position may change even though your bid amount hasn't.
I contacted Yahoo about this today and they told me they are aware of the problem - it's a server issue and they are working to fix it. However there is no estimated time of repair. They also mentioned that this is not the first time this problem has occurred.
Sorry about the long post, I just wanted to share this info in case there are others out there scratching their heads on this one. (And to add pressure on Yahoo to be more realiable)
