Hi,
Has anyone else in the last few days found there url count within Yahoo has dropped?....in my case from over 1000 to 234 :(
Anyway see anything wrong with my site that caused this sudden drop?

I've seen Yahoo in flux for a few weeks - minor changes - but yes in the past couple days I've seen smaller sites (my own personal sites included) take big hits.
It doesn't seem to have affected larger sites too much that I monitor however.
There is talk over at WMW forums of a Yahoo update so what you could be seeing are the early stages of it.

and now down to 143.
After spending hours, and months of time getting as many pages listed as possible, Yahoo has wiped all this in less than a week.

Actually, searching by the domain name shows instances of where the url appears on pages (not just the site itself). There are only two of those now, and both appear to have been paid adverts.
Searching with
site:example.com
shows the pages from the site that are in the index, and while MSN shows 104 pages in their index, sorry to say but Yahoo shows nothing in their index for the site searching that way.
One of the first things to look at with regard to Yahoo "disfavor" is the number, source and quality of inbound links.
