I have been looking for answers to this for 2 weeks now (here, usenet etc.) and have yet to find anything. Has anyone experienced their content being reset to the basic initial content on the Google Personalized Homepage? Not a huge deal, but i lost everything, but it still showed news, ODD news and 1 or 2 other pieces.

Couple of thoughts..
Did you reset/ delete your cookies?
Have you disabled Javascript in your browser?

not sure. I see the lack of content at work and at home. I have not disabled JS at home. But would removing cookies really do that, since it would be saved per profile no matter where ones goes? that would seem strange if cookies are the case.
JS is enabled in firefox but should some advanced features be checked off as seen below?

umm, yeah...no offense intended, but (and I understand going thru all of the steps to help out) I am accustomed to web-based email/gmail as well as the Internet enough to know i need to be logged in to use/see/edit the PH.
has no one else heard of this?
