Hi!

I would like understand the business model of sites like Dogpile (multiple search results).
When you put google search box on your site this will lead to standard google search with Adwords links. However in Dogpile there are no side sponsored link (only on top of search). Does it mean that sites like Dogpile pay some fees to search engine sites they use? Otherwise, why Google or Yahoo would supply their search without sponsored links.

Thanks

Serving 50+ ads (yes!) on first 3-4 pages (instead of organic results)
would definately earn them a bit from their last round of users, but its
not really good.

Dog(pile) is Greedy! Take a look at the screenshots...
