Hi I was just wondering if .com domains have better pageranks than .net domains. If so, how much better? Most of the top 10 google search results have a .com extention, why is this?

More dot com than dot net.
It’s a good question … one that gets asked from time to time. The short answer is that it doesn’t matter which you use. The engines would love to index the cure for cancer, and they will not let your choice of tld get in the way.
