There are a world of issues going on with Analytics implementation, lack of data, installations, user questions, etc. etc. etc. Maybe it's just me but I am finding information very scarce and a lot of it out of date.
I think Analytics is a world of its own and a subformum for it would be very helpful to SEW members.

Conversion, ROI Improvement & Tracking (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/forumdisplay.php?f=42) is sort of the home for this, but it might make sense to break out as a top level Analytics forum, then have subarea such as conversion tips, analytics tools, big management and so on. Will definitely consider.
An Analytics top level forum would be great. Some good reasons to have one :D
The WAA does have it's own board but it has miniscule traffic
The analytic vendors usually don't have community interaction in mind, and even if they do, they only cater to clients
With Google Analytics going for free, a lot of people are new to the analytics game

Another reason Analytics subforum is needed is that Analytics is its own unique technical jungle - particularly now when Google itself doesn't have its act together. When something isn't working it is nice to compare notes, tips, technical info with people who have the same issues you do.
I am reasonably conversant with log analyzers and did all my analysis with Nettracker. I find it very hard to get really good information out of Analytics - probably because Google is having issues and implementing Google Analytics is different than a pure standalone log analyzer like Nettracker.

The lack of data from Google and the lack of any central location for information about Analytics (even within Google Groups) is a huge pain. Trying to find current information about Analytics even on this great forum is a pain - you have to run all over the SEO forums to try and find the latest info.
Please set up a sub forum for Analytics.
