Hi everyone,

Been away for a while.

I was curious to ask the Spanish-speaking hermanos doing SEO in Latin-American countries if there has been some Portuguese results appearing in your Serps?

Also, would you be very kind to share where I could find trusted info about the social layout in your country: percentage of the population that is below poverty line; poor with certain buying power; middle-class (in a latin-american point of view, not the US or European version of middle-class)?

Cheers,

Luis

Hi Luis.
I'm going to address the second part of your post and I hope it helps.
Take a look at this internet usage study from Chile (http://www.multilingual-search.com/internet-behavior-from-virtually-every-angle%e2%80%94findings-from-chile/29/07/2005/en-GB/) that I wrote about several months ago in Multilingual Search (http://www.multilingual-search.com) . It's a very complete study that compares Latin American and European countries from virtually every perspective you can think of. Very interesting! I'm sure the analysis made the headlines in plenty of hispanic news sources.

Good Luck
