It seems to me that if you build a good, accessible site with lots of quality content it will rise to the top quite easily on Yahoo and MSN.
Google is a different matter. It seems as if it's a constant battle of amends, reports, links, workabouts, head scratching, phonecalls etc to just try and keep afloat in Google's ranking. Why-o-why?

1 - Google give more credits for inbound links (of some quality) and natural linkgrowth takes time, plus there arer alot of linkspammed pages out there to compete with.
2 - Google Sanbdox effect. The age of the site matters in Google rankings. I have had pages ranking top 3 on all engines but Google (for a specific phrase), for nearly a year before Google caught up.
There are probably many more reasons than this to.

Google is so caught up in trying to prevent spam, that I think they are hurting their own results. It may be more spammy, but one thing that MSN has going for it is recent, relevent website results.
If I'm searching the web for X on Google I'm only going to find recent content on aged sites. This is a serious deficiency on Google's part in my opinion.

I usually don't have any problems getting indexed in Google (searching for domainname.com) but page ranks is another thing that's hard to get.
Anyway, 10-15 days ago I submitted 2 new sites to Google and Ihave seen them spidering my sites several times but the sites still not show up
Has anybody else noticed any problems lately getting indexed or is it just me?
