Hello, I'm working with an outdoor club that provides recreation and education spanning various outdoor activities (including hiking, backpacking, canoeing, etc) and seasons specific to geographic regions

Should we be creating Activity-focused landing pageson our website?

Targeted geographic landing pages? seasonal landing pages?

does anyone have any suggestions as to what do for optimization for these areas of our site?

Landing pages? What..?.. for airplanes ..?… :)

I can only presume you are referring to creating specific pages for SEs that are optimised for particular key words / phrases to rank high and to act as an entry point for visitors from said SEs. Bad idea.

In effect every page on your site is a landing page and if built and optimised properly can achieve that very purpose which means you could have several “landing pages” for all of the subjects you were listing in your post. It’s all about quantity as well as quality of page content.

If you are referring to something else please elaborate. Also a URL would help to give you a better judgement.
