Hi Folks,

I've detected a quality problem search in google that is affecting one of the sites I’ve offered search optimisation services. It has been affected by the known ‘sandbox’ effect in a reasonable period of time. Never mind it is under critical situation since last month of September, which can be tie with two elements of this search engine. First of all links supported by an old AdWords campaign contracted to this engine from December 2004 until July 2005. Second one, the known sandbox effect which, according to several information sources (including a US Patent Application 0050071741), is one of the way applying for this engine to support quality in theirs results. The problem that I detected has been studied during 60 days, from September 15th to November 16th. All description about it is available in the following link: http://www.acoutin.cibercuba.com/seo_news_google.htm

Some hypotheses about the sources of this problem are discussed and the end of this report.

Any comments about it? I would like discuss it....

cheers

Adwords doesn't have any effect on organic placement, the sandbox or anything else related to Google's organic results.

Hi folks,

I'm agree with you, a real AdWords campaigns doesn't affect organic results, but my problem is that:
_ First of all we actually don't have any adwords campaigns active.
_ Google is showing results where you can see links to my site from web sites content associated of Gg. These links are associated of a old AdWords campaigns, so actually Google doesn't know that these links are associated to AdWords campaigns.
The problem is why Google is showing links from an old AdWords campaign to this site? You can see more details in my web site. Any answers to this specific problem?

Cheers

Adrian

One possibility is that a dynamically generated site pulled your ads in the development of their page and have it archived.

But some of these pages are no more available !!! you can't access them, just only available in google cached pages........we have been in contact with webmasters of these sites and they don't have control about these pages anymore... they are old pages which only google SERP shows

all information about available in:

The "links" generated by Adwords are not counted as "links". Google and the other SE's can detect what pages your ads were on if they happened to index them when your ads were being displayed. I assume you're searching for your site url using ""www.my-site.com" and looking at those result sets? All that's showing (in relation to Adwords) you is pages that contianed your URL - the actual text, not a link.

In short, they are not effecting your organic placement at all.

Yes, I think you are right..... however for my is a big surprise that google databases are showing results with pages no more available in web sites. I've found this problem in many engines but google have worked very well it.

Here is the abstracts in google results and the url which shows old campaign.
