Hi,

Our site is getting great coverage in both Yahoo and MSN, but Google will not list the site.

The site was originally launched as a subdomain, then relaunched under it's own domain. The subdomain URLs have been completely removed from the Google index and a 301 redirect was implemented to point to the new domain name during the transition.

Now the new domain name is nowhere to be found. The site has been submitted to Google and the Google sitemap is updated at least twice a week.

Googlebot has crawled random pages of the site, it grabs the sitemap about twice a day, and crawls 2 or three pages about twice a month. I think in total it's only crawled 10 pages of the 200 page site - none of them indexed.

We have been waiting over 4 months.

The only technical problems I see are:
1. The domain name is with one company with the name servers pointing to the actual web hosting location. (but Yahoo and MSN don't seem to mind, so I don't think this is the issue)

2. The domain name is coming from the same ISP as another one of our sites that gets good coverage on Google. I am using a directory on that site to host the site in question here. This directory is not being crawled by Google thanks to our robots file, so it shouldn't be a problem.

The site in question: http://www.theartrepreneur.com

Google has pages in their index that contain links to your site, you may either be banned (ask for reinclusion) or just not indexed yet. Keep building links to your site and submit a reinclusion email.

How do you submit a reinclusion email?

Thanks for the reinclusion suggestion. I submitted it on Friday, Nov. 11 and will be sure to post again once I hear a reply so others can get a sense of how long the process takes.

I submitted the reinclusion request, then set a follow-up email to the auto-responder 2 weeeks later. Googlebot did a full crawl a little over a month after the follow-up email was sent and the site was finally included in the index last weekend. Hallelujah!!!
