This week many of the moderators will be at the Search Engine Strategies in San Jose. Some of us will be posting live coverage of the sessions we attend. This thread will be the central location for all announcements about new posts on SES San Jose live coverage.

We will be posting new threads for each session we attend in the most appropriate forum room. When we post this new thread, we will come here to notify you where the thread is located.

I will be leaving to San Jose shortly. I hope the wifi in the conference area and rooms work well. If they do, please expect (from me) live coverage to be posted minutes after the sessions end.

Next session I covered is named Personalizing Search (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=885). This topic was the hottest thing in search before the SEMPO scandal (just kidding), and I look forward to hearing what some of the panelists have to say, specifically Eurekster. Danny starts asking who hear feels that personalized search will be the next big wave in search. Hands went up in the audience. Danny says that this might be one avenue towards this area. continue reading... (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=885)

Tim Mayer was just sitting to my left, tried to pay him off to give me some secrets but he wouldn't give it up. Other then not giving me any insider information, he is still a nice guy. So my new favorite search engine is Yahoo. :)

Ok, just posted the Shopping Search Tactics (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=927) session. Check it out.

Again, please excuse any of my typos and grammar errors, I did not proof read or edit any of my posts. Actually, I did not even read them, just typed them.

Funny I think I walked past you a bunch of times at the conference and the various parties.. had wanted to put face to name... now I can and still be anonymous on my end!!!!

Ha! I believe I was standing next to you when they ran out of glasses and you just grabbed the whole dang bottle!

That cracked me up! Oilman, Brandy and myself walked by just after that...and there she was...holding that bottle proudly!

It was fun putting the face with name and hanging with you Elisabeth!

Elisabeth

aussie, that's kinda funny. danny was trying to find you at the tech party to introduce us.

and for the record, i didn't "grab" the bottle, they offered it up - when they ran out of cups.

(and I shared it too)

complete opposite of google's party, eh?

I spent a good amount of the time at the tech party talking with Jim Stob - mostly about boats - we covered Yahoo Site Match in a couple of minutes.....
well maybe next time
