I have a dilemma with a site that is promoting a very new service. It is so new that there is no standard or generally accepted nomenclature in the marketplace to describe it. There are a variety of two-word terms used now; in some cases a hyphen is used between the two words, sometimes a only a space and sometimes the two words are run together as one word. I see minor differences in search results across the permutations. My inclination is to use the term(s) in their grammatically correct format, which would include the hyphen. Any general negative impact this would have on rankings overall? Any usability studies out there that anyone is aware of that indicates what users do when searching a term or phrase that includes a hyphen? Thanks.
