My company has many domains for one of it's websites, primarily for the purpose of making it difficult for competitors to come to market with these domain names, but are all pointed (using DNS) to the same website.
I know this may cause problems so I want to drop them. However, there are some that have been indexed, albiet not very good, but indexed nonetheless. Should I just kill the DNS so that they point nowhere, or should I 301 all of them? I'm using IIS so it's kind of a pain to 301 - though not to say I wouldn't if it is advisable.
Would there be a problem having 20 or more domains 301'ing to the same website?
Thanks in advance.
