Sub Domain or New Domain

Hi all,

I tried to find a thread that was in line with the question I am about to ask, but could not find one suitable. If there is a thread specific to my question, I'd love to have a link.

Q: Do you think that the Big 3 would more quickly index a new sub domain stemming from an already established domain with good PR compared to a brand new domain? Or do you feel that there is no difference--both are new?

I've got my theory, but want to know what you think.

I believe if you are able to link from the existing domain TO the new sub-domain, it will help the sub-domain inherit some of the PR
