Hi Friends,
I have recently revamped a existing website.
I has happy to see the new website content been cached by google having a date of 21st Oct 2005.
Now when I checked again, google's cache for the website is showing an Older date 28 Sep 2005. Does this happen? I mean a cache gone be shown for an older date?
Thanks
HarRy

Yes, this happens sometimes . Usually you have hit a different datacenter which has a different cache copy date (as a new change is being distributed across G's network of datacenters). Check back in a bit and it will go back to the new one.
This also happens alot during index updates, sometimes they roll back a change. Once again, it will get updated pretty quick.

Yeah, new cache is back, thank you martin.
Well I am a newbie to SEO and SEM, but I have a strong believe that it rocks the internet community. But I am sure there is no such perfect formula for one to use and get his website #1 and 9/10 ranking forever.
thanks

 I've detected google is showing old caches, but not for few weaks, more or less for a month. Some old caches are showing a old Adwords campings for one of my sites. It have been in 'sandbox' by several moths, it was improving positions before old caches retrieval old links from adwords campaing. Now the site is in a real deep sandox.....
someone with the same problem? I've sent a message to search google support but I'm still waiting
cheers
